My other aunt:

She was born in France, so she didn't know Algeria at all. She's 46 today. I knew her husband, who was very cool, must still be cool, and her two children, one more than the other, but they were quite small when I left. They're 13 and 11 now. 

She's more honest and frank it seems to me, than the elders. She was very close to my mother. However, for a reason I don't understand, we've never been close. I couldn't say it was conflictual, but there was a sort a barrier. I was a very introverted teen, and live in the secrets of the elders, and that climate of distrust didn't help. But maybe she tried some communication. At least, I'm pretty sure she knows nothing.
